Soft Pastel on pastel mat -- 65 x 50 cm (26”x 20”)
I use no fixative on my pastel paintings, because the spray will always affect the colours of the artwork. Instead, the work is left in its pristine state and is shipped with a rigid layer pressed firmly on top of its surface. That way the pigment layer is shock protected. The sandwiched artwork is then packed tightly in a soft shell. Clear instructions for unpacking and handling are included.
I recommend handing the sealed container to a professional framer, where you can choose a frame that suits both the artwork and your interior.
